8 week Beginners Swing Course

Open to all levels

Wednesday Oct 6th – Wed Nov 24th 2021

7:15pm – 8:15pm – £40 per person

Swingsters will teach you the foundations of Swing Dancing.

You will be learning to dance to music from the roaring 1920’s through 1930’s & 40’s big band Swing, to 1950’s R’n’B & Rock’n’Roll.

Just bring comfy shoes and a smile.  The course is relaxed and friendly allowing you to have a good time, keep fit, make new friends and learn to dance.

We would prefer you to bring a partner so we can maintain lead / follow balance, if you don’t have a partner then let us know and we can try to partner you up with someone.

You are invited at the end of the course as our guest to a live Swing band night where you can show off your new skills and dance the night away!!

Comfy shoes. Clothing suitable for light exercise.

Bring water, sanitizer and a cardigan as we keep the hall ventilated.

Participants are advised to do a lateral flow test before every session as there is no social distancing

We recommend that participants have had a double vaccination.
